Taran's arrival is probably the best gift this family received this year. What a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday!

Henry picked out his favorite gift very early this year. The first box to arrive, from Eileen and Roger, became his. For hours he guarded it, spread out in all his glory.

As usual, there were way too many gifts this year.

The Memmott tradition of using the newspaper to wrap gifts is alive and well in this house— 413 Fair Oaks Street was "green" before green was cool.

It only takes two AA batteries.

Probably its most redeeming feature.

I can't match Cullen's hot-off-the-press snow pictures, but I can come up with a couple of snowsuits.
