48 hours in NYC
Maybe Bridget feels like it was twice that long?
We checked out the Christmas shops at Grand Central Station (knit hats for $50 or $60??).
We stood in line for MOMA and lucked out with free tickets to the Van Gogh exhibit.
We did lots of walking.
Yesterday we spent a few hours at the Guggenheim Museuem
where we saw a spectacular phototgraphy exhibit, although the body piercing was a little less riveting (sorry) than the monochromatic snow scenes--probably that's a comment on my upbringing.
We ate often, saw "Rachel Getting Married," a good dysfunctional family movie (elope, elope, elope....) and spent some time at Bridget's neighborhood (NOT Starbuck's) coffee shop.
No pictues, but noticeable:

Great photos. Check twitter.com sometime. It's just a way to tell folks what you're doing, 142 characters or fewer at a time.
Your photos really give the flavor of the city. Didn't know you were going. Nice that you've found a way to easily connect with Bridget.
