Overeat? Well, maybe

Yesterday we had one of Mark and Carol's great meals—turkey (not just any turkey, but a turkey breast soaked in brine, Bill Clinton's sweet potato casserole (yes, it had marshmallows), mashed potatoes, ham, homemade cranberry sauce (and the "classic" sauce from the can), green bean casserole, and pie. Unfortunately, my camera was having issues, so there are no pictures of Mark's redone family room, new floors, and Erin and Matt, both of whom are looking good and were tolerant of the old folks.

Today we did a dinner for Bridget, who saw the Macy's parade, but missed dinner on Thanksgiving. So, Tom's sweet potato soup, turkey, squash, regular stuffing, oyster stuffing, green beans, cranberry jell, and leftover pie.

Note the definite male takeover of all kitchen duties. Bridget and I sat and watched. Seems fair to me.

The temperature dropped about 30 degrees overnight. Yesterday I walked in shorts and a tee shirt. Today it's all about hats and layers. At least two of us have the proper headgear.

Yup, 2 great meals.
I don't think those pies made it past Fri.
That's me, hard at work refilling the water pitcher. Yah.
