We might as well be in Buffalo.

Almost 24 hours without power in this cold is enough. Cullen's neighborhood is still without power. He is walking out of his neighborhood and Tom is on his way to pick him up. I'm here keeping the fire going.
Pictures from yesterday. Luckily when this tree split it dropped very neatly into the median.

This view is from the middle of our garden. Even the angel's thin wings piled up snow. She's on a pole that is at least 3 feet long.

Our car is to the left . It has been partially cleared off at this point.

Batteries, really important. And the radio, even without batteries, was wonderful. Listen 10 minutes, crank for 2. Listen, crank, listen, crank....
Tom's job, hour after hour after hour.
Enough already. Let's move on to spring.
