turkey, pie, mashed potatoes
OK, it's an experiment. Two brothers and one son make this blogging thing look easy. We'll see. My apologies for the blatant copying of style.
Thanksgiving came and went pretty fast. We lucked out by going to Mark's for Thanksgiving dinner.
The dogs were talkative, and Carol has seen the light and taken up knitting. Mark did something fancy with his turkey--soaking overnight in brine. Sounds weird but it worked. I had it easy, as Bridget made a pumpkin pie and did the lattice top of the blueberry pie, and four tea rings.
We followed up with another big meal last night for Bridget's sendoff, this time with oyster stuffing, and complete with two more pies.
Yesterday Tom and Bridget ran a 5-mile race in Seneca Creek Park.
Again, I had the easy job--pick out the two most colorful runners and take a few pictures.
